How RefillMed handles your information, and the terms on which the service is provided.
RefillMed is a medication-refill reminder and doorstep-delivery service operated in partnership with your clinic. We help you refill the medicines your doctor has already prescribed, and we coordinate their delivery to your door. RefillMed is a commercial and logistics service only — we do not provide medical advice, and we do not make or change any clinical decision. This policy explains what information we handle, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.
Your clinic holds the relationship with you as its patient and authorises RefillMed to help its patients refill their prescriptions. RefillMed handles your information on your clinic's behalf, and only for the purpose of operating refill reminders and delivery. In the language of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, your clinic is the data fiduciary and RefillMed acts as its data processor.
From your clinic's records (with your clinic's authorisation): your name, your phone number, your delivery address, the medicines your doctor prescribed (name, dose, and duration), the medicines you have already purchased at the clinic pharmacy, and the date of your next appointment.
From you, over WhatsApp: your consent to join the service, your replies confirming or declining a refill, the phone number you message us from, and any messages you send us. Where a family member or caregiver manages your medicines, we may handle that person's phone number for the same purpose.
We do not collect or store your clinical notes, diagnoses, or test-result interpretations. We look at your prescription only to know which medicines are due for a refill — never to make a clinical judgement.
We create your profile only after you say yes. Until you reply YES to our WhatsApp opt-in, the only thing we hold is your phone number, briefly, so we can send you that one invitation. If you do not opt in, it is deleted. Your consent is the gate — nothing about you is kept without it.
We use your information only to:
That is all. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Your information is shared only with the people needed to get your medicines to you: your clinic (whose patient you are), the pharmacist who prepares your order, and the delivery person who brings it to your door. We also use an authorised WhatsApp messaging provider (AiSensy, operating on the official WhatsApp Business Platform) to deliver our messages to you. We do not share your information with anyone else, and never for advertising or profiling.
We communicate with you through WhatsApp. Delivery of those messages is also governed by the terms of WhatsApp and Meta. You will only ever receive a first message from us after your clinic has authorised it, and you can stop our messages at any time as described below.

You may also, by writing to us at the contact address above, ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. We will act on such requests promptly.
Your information is stored on private servers located in India (Mumbai), operated by RIGPA GLOBAL HEALTHCARE. It is encrypted in transit, each clinic's information is kept separate from every other clinic's, and access is restricted. Backups are maintained on infrastructure located in India. We do not transfer your information outside India.
We keep your information for as long as you are an active user of the service. If you opt out, your personal information is erased. If your clinic ends its use of RefillMed, the patient information associated with that clinic is deleted or returned to the clinic.
You pay your clinic for your medicines, at prices set by your clinic and its pharmacy. RefillMed does not collect, process, or store your card, bank, or other payment details.
RefillMed is intended for the adult patients of a clinic, or for a caregiver acting on behalf of a patient. It is not directed at children under 18.

RefillMed does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not create or change any prescription. Refills are based solely on what your doctor has already prescribed. Always follow your doctor's instructions, and consult your doctor for any clinical question or change.
The medicines you receive are dispensed by your clinic's pharmacy against your doctor's prescription. Availability, substitution, and pricing of medicines are determined by that pharmacy. RefillMed reminds and coordinates; it does not dispense.
You pay your clinic directly for your medicines. RefillMed does not handle your money and does not set medicine prices.
Delivery is provided on a best-effort basis to the address you confirm. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address and for being reachable for delivery. Cancellations, returns, and re-delivery are handled case by case; medicines that require specific handling may not be returnable once delivered.
You join RefillMed only by your own opt-in on WhatsApp, and you may pause (reply STOP) or leave permanently (reply OPT OUT) at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy above.
RefillMed aims to help you refill your medicines on time, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service, medicine availability, or delivery within any particular time, as these depend on your clinic, its pharmacy, and circumstances outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIGPA GLOBAL HEALTHCARE shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here affects the responsibilities of your clinic, your doctor, or your pharmacy for the care and medicines they provide.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
